The closest beach is 4km away, while taverns, shops and a bakery can be found in the village of Atsipopoulo. There is an extensive choice of shops, and tourist amenities in town of Rethymno, which is about 5km away.

This is a most relaxing setting for a holiday, and the surrounding wooded landscape is ideal for those who like to go walking.
